Job Title : Loss Prevention and Safety Officer
Department : Human Resource
Reports to : Director of Safety and Loss Prevention
Position : Full-Time, Non-Set Schedule
Location : Rancho Dominguez, CA
Pay Rate : $17.00-$21.00.
Santa Monica Seafood Company is seeking a Loss Prevention and Safety Officer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team dedicated to serving our employees in ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
Job Duties :
- Patrols all areas of the property.
- CCTV monitoring and perimeter alarm system.
- Respond to accidents in warehouse.
- Complete incident reports to document all Security / Loss Prevention related Incidents.
- Maintain confidentiality of all safety and security matters.
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training when needed.
BSIS guard card required
Requirements :
- Two years of security experience
- Bilingual is a plus- English / Spanish
- Must be flexible, available to work weekends and graveyards.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
- Move, lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50lbs.
